The 2023 New Hampshire Senior Games are Officially Underway!
Manchester, NH, March 9, 2023 – The New Hampshire Senior Games is all set to return with a bang in 2023, following a successful 2022 season that brought together athletes and spectators from across the state and beyond. As we look forward to another season of exciting sports and thrilling competitions, it's time to reflect on the past year and celebrate the achievements of our athletes.
The 2022 New Hampshire Senior Games were a resounding success, thanks in no small part to the hard work and dedication of our sponsors and volunteers. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed their time, expertise, and resources to make the New Hampshire ate Senior Games a success. Our sponsors, including many local businesses, organizations, and individuals, provided support that allowed us to host a top-quality event. Their generosity and commitment to the senior community are truly inspiring, and we are grateful for their partnership. Our volunteers, too, played a crucial role in the success of the 2022 Games. They worked tirelessly to ensure that athletes and spectators alike had a smooth and enjoyable experience. Their dedication is a testament to the spirit of this community that the National Senior Games embody.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the athletes themselves. The 2022 Games saw a record number of participants in many sports, each of whom gave it their all and showcased their talent and determination. From the basketball court to the bowling alley, the track to the tennis court, the competition was fierce and the spirit of sportsmanship was strong.
We would like to congratulate all the outstanding athletes who participated in the 2022 season and thank them for their hard work and dedication. It was truly a pleasure to watch them compete and excel in their respective sports.

Now, as we turn our attention to the upcoming 2023 season, we are excited to announce that we have set dates, venues, and sports ready for athletes to mark on their calendars and start preparing for. The New Hampshire Senior Games will be held from June to September, 2023, and will feature a wide range of sports, including Archery, Candlepin Bowling, 10-Pin Bowling, Cycling, Disc Golf, Pickleball, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, and more. The organizers of the New Hampshire Senior Games would like to extend our congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the 2022 season, as well as our thanks to the sponsors and volunteers who made it all possible. We are excited to see what the 2023 season has in store and are looking forward to welcoming athletes and spectators back to the New Hampshire Senior Games.

Now celebrating its 35th year, the mission of the New Hampshire Senior Games (NHSG), organized by the Granite State Senior Games (GSSG) is to promote, organize and effectively develop physical challenges, as they relate to the NH Senior Athlete and the 50+ population of the state of New Hampshire, undertake related activities benefitting the well-being of adults as appropriate and focusing on the development of active and healthy lifestyles. Our mission is accomplished by encouraging fitness and by providing athletic competition in a variety of sports, clinics, and creative pursuits.
Founded in 1987, Granite State Senior Games, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) all volunteer sports and fitness organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Granite State Senior Games' (GSSG) sporting events are now known as the New Hampshire Senior Games (NHSG). We are New Hampshire’s premier multi-sport event for the 50+ population. NHSG is the only New Hampshire organization in the state to be sanctioned by the National Senior Games Association (NSGA) to qualify senior athletes for participation in the National Senior Games held every two years.
